Well here goes my first post about mason's and books... I just got finished reading Brad Meltzer's "The Book of Fate" published this year. It's a pretty good political thriller and what dya know? The mason's make an appearance as a device used by the bad guys to get a mentally unstable guy do their bidding. The book brings out all the usual old Freemason's are running the world, a whole list of famous Freemasons, and the possibility that there are masonic symbols in the layout of Washington DC. What I liked was the info was pretty accurate and was used well in the book to add drama. Overall I though it was a good read. Also, for all the brother's out there if you read it please don't skip the author's notes at the end. That was my favorite part! Also, Brad has a section with a few interesting things on it relating to the fraternity so go check it out!
